This set of instruments has been sketched entirely on my Octatrack and Deluge - #octaluge.
All tracks were created in 2020 as a part of my #CouchSkechedBeat. You can follow that process @rec.dot on Instagram.
I find hard to assign my music to one specific genre therefore I like to call it #genreflex (do not confuse with genderflex ;).
I'm taking inspiration from boom bap, trip hop and french abstract hip hop artists, but you can also find parts of other electronic music genres.
I like to cut samples, mangle them in #Octatrack and then mix with #Deluge internal synths...
In every track on that playlist I'm trying to show some emotions, memories or situations I've been through and either enjoy it or those that bother me.
